I have been employed within the graphic design industry since 2003 in various communications departments for both the public and private industries, as well as worked as a freelancer to design projects for local businesses and organizations outside of my employment to maintain a creative mix.
In the spring of 2018 I launched Katie Sinkowski Design with the intention of expanding my work so I could explore my industry on a new level and complete branding and design work for a wide range of businesses, organizations and services.
Most of my work consists of branding & logo design, illustration and advertising, as well as a variety of print-based and digital designs to include things like magazine layout, package design, promotional design and signage. I became a Registered Graphic Designer (RGD) of Ontario in 2009, and have an educational background and diplomas in Graphic Design, Art and design fundamentals and Electronic Prepress.
I understand the importance of branding and corporate identity and the need for consistency to make a business or organization memorable. An effective design is reached through research and strategy so that a business or corporation can stand out, and I thoroughly enjoy helping businesses achieve this.
Over the last 14 years I have travelled to over 21 different countries around the world. I have seen a large part of Canada, and the United States as well as Central and South America, New Zealand, South Africa, Eastern Africa and Europe. Traveling is a large part of who I am and I believe that experiencing what the world has to offer lends a hand in my creativity.
If you have any questions about my work or services offered, please feel free to contact me. I’d love to hear from you!
